Overview
"For the Love of Type" is a collaborative book project showcasing contemporary typefaces. This two-part project combines individual typeface analyses with comprehensive book design. For my contribution, I created an in-depth analysis of the Mazurquica typeface, designing spreads that explore its history and unique characteristics. Additionally, I took on the role of book designer, crafting the cover, end sheets, front matter, and end matter. This project allowed me to dive deep into typography analysis while also gaining valuable experience in overall book design and collaborative work.

When approaching the book cover and design, I wanted to create something cohesive that clearly stood apart from the type analysis spreads. With this goal in mind, I developed a cover, table of contents, introduction to the book, and a template for divider slides that helps distinguish each typeface section.
